CAR’s aims and scope are to publish leading-edge research that contributes to our collective understanding of accounting’s role in organizations, markets and society. Canadian-based and global in scope, CAR seeks to reflect the worldwide intellectual diversity in accounting research. CAR welcomes interesting and intellectually rigorous work in all topic areas of accounting, using any appropriate methods, based in any discipline or research tradition that can contribute significantly to accounting knowledge. CAR is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading accounting journals as illustrated by its high standing in several national and international rankings.

The successful candidate must be a senior academic with an established research record who has a full-time appointment with a Canadian post-secondary institution.

Interested individuals must submit a letter of intent, which describes their vision and plans for the journal, and a recent CV that includes previous editorial experience. Applications are accepted in English and French.
