R. DOUGLAS (DOUG) THOMAS
R. Douglas (Doug) Thomas was a transformative figure in Canadian and international accounting, known for his visionary leadership and commitment to advancing financial reporting and auditing standards. Over a distinguished 25-year career at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) from 1960 to 1985, he played a pivotal role in modernizing the profession, strengthening its research and standard-setting functions and elevating Canada’s influence on the global stage.

STEVE ALLAN
Steve Allan is a distinguished Alberta-based Chartered Professional Accountant recognized for his expertise in corporate restructuring, insolvency, and forensic accounting, demonstrated through involvement in prominent cases like Abacus Cities, Principal Group, Canadian Airlines and the Public Inquiry into Anti-Alberta Energy Campaigns He's served as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and actively contributes to CPA Alberta's strategic direction. Allan's commitment extends to the business community as Chair of Destination Canada and Calgary Economic Development, notably establishing the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund. A dedicated community leader, he volunteers with the Calgary Stampede and Rotary Club, co-founding a Stay-in-School program for Indigenous youth as well as the Top 7 Over 70 program to honour seniors for their unique contributions to community after the age of 70. Honored with the Alberta Order of Excellence and an Honorary Chieftainship by the Treaty 7 First Nations, Allan champions accounting education and community service initiatives.

DENIS L. DESAUTELS
Denis L. Desautels, a chartered accountant, served as Auditor General of Canada (1991-2001), earning recognition as the "super cop of the deficit" for his relentless pursuit of government accountability. Prior to this, he was a senior partner at Clarkson Gordon (now EY). Post-retirement, he contributed to corporate boards like CARE Canada, Laurentian Bank, and Bombardier. Desautels significantly impacted accounting standards, chairing committees and promoting transparency. His work with INTOSAI and the creation of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development highlight his commitment to international auditing and sustainability. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Gregory the Great.

PATRICIA O'BRIEN
Patricia O'Brien is celebrated for her pioneering research on financial analysts and contributions to accounting education. Her work, including the classic paper "Analysts' Forecasts as Earnings Expectations," has garnered over 8,000 citations, significantly influencing capital markets research. She served as Editor-in-Chief of Contemporary Accounting Research and co-authored a recent edition of the widely used textbook "Financial Accounting Theory." O'Brien's impact extends to standard-setting as a long-term member of the Academic Advisory Council to the Canadian Accounting Standards Board. Her dedication to teaching is evident through her mentorship of numerous PhD students and contributions to curriculum development. In 2009 she received CAAA’s Haim Falk Award. In 2024 she was honored with the title of Distinguished Professor Emerita at the University of Waterloo.

RICHARD (DICK) W.D. POUND
Richard (Dick) William Duncan Pound is celebrated for his multifaceted achievements in sports, law, taxation, and ethics. An Olympian and gold medalist, he transitioned to a distinguished legal career as a tax law specialist. Dick served as the first president of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and a long-standing vice-president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). His expertise in law and ethics has shaped his involvement in various committees and positions of leadership. Dick's contributions to education and commitment to service demonstrate a dedication to making a positive difference in the world.

JACK VICQ
Jack Vicq, FCPA, FCA, is a distinguished accounting professional with over six decades of contributions to accounting, education, and community service. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, he chaired the Board of Examiners for Chartered Accountants Professional Examinations and served on committees for the CICA and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan. He was Associate Deputy Minister of Finance for Saskatchewan and a director at PotashCorp (Nutrien). Jack championed Indigenous business education, launching programs at the University of Saskatchewan. A Professor Emeritus, he received the National Philanthropy Day Award and served on the Meewasin Valley Authority board, leaving an enduring legacy.
