The Craft of Accounting Research Workshop

Workshop Faculty: Leslie Berger (Wilfrid Laurier University), Sandra Chamberlain (UBC), Willie Choi (University of Wisconsin–Madison), Juan Manuel García Lara (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), Yves Gendron (Université Laval), and Jeff Pittman (Memorial University of Newfoundland).
This workshop is intended for doctoral students in at least the third year of their PhD program interested in performing research and writing research-based articles for scholarly journals in accounting. It will feature large group activities focused on generating research ideas and writing, as well as breakout groups focused on conducting data analysis and publication. The group activities will be lead by our fantastic faculty members. The workshop will also offer opportunities for selected participants to present and receive feedback on their own research ideas in the exciting PechaKucha format.
