Qualitative Accounting Research Symposium 2021

Friday, May 14, 2021

The 6th Annual Qualitative Accounting Research Symposium will be held on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26, 2021.

The theme for this year’s symposium will be:

Near & Far: Trends in Qualitative Accounting Research

Prof. Yves Gendron of Laval University in Quebec will be the keynote speaker.

The academic portion of the conference will be fully online as it was in 2020.  Organizers look forward to virtually meeting again with their colleagues from near and far! For those who are physically close to Guelph, organizers hope, public health guidelines permitting, to host a dinner on campus as part of the social component of the conference.

The Symposium aims to provide a space for academic discussion on various topics related to qualitative research methods in accounting. It also provides opportunities to share emerging and advanced research projects and outputs with the academic community.

More information about the Symposium (call for papers, dinner arrangements, etc.) will be posted to the webpage at:
