The Faculty of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University (Burnaby, Canada) has openings for visiting faculty members for the upcoming academic year (September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011). These positions may be of particular interest to individuals who are on sabbatical or study leave, wish to be in the Vancouver area and teach one or more courses. Applications are invited at any rank (Assistant, Associate, Full) in the following areas of specialization:
- Accounting - Management Information Systems - Marketing - International Business - Strategy
To qualify as a visiting faculty member and in accordance with University policy (A12.04), “A visiting faculty member must be a person who holds a position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in a recognized university, or who holds an equivalent position in another appropriate organization.”
Language of instruction is English. The duration of appointment will be less than one year. Successful candidates will have strong teaching and research records. A Ph.D. in the appropriate area is also required. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. However, Canadian and Permanent Residents will be given priority.
