Tenure-Stream Faculty Position (Posted: July 21, 2010)

The Accounting department invites applications for a tenure-stream faculty position at a rank commensurate with experience.  The position is subject to final budgetary approval.  

Applicants must have a PhD in accounting, a demonstrated record of scholarship (including publications in peer-reviewed journals), evidence of teaching excellence (preferably at both the undergraduate and graduate levels) and a capacity for collaboration and collegial service.  

The successful candidate will have experience with international accounting standards and the ability to develop and integrate case material into the accounting curriculum.  The ideal candidate should have expertise in either public sector accounting or forensic accounting. The ability to incorporate industry-based programs in accounting and/or audit into the curriculum would be an asset.
