Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Accounting

The Faculty of Management of the University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus) invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position in Accounting. The candidate is expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate level. The Faculty of Management is seeking candidates who have a strong potential for research and superior teaching. Candidates at the associate and full professor levels must have an established record of publication in top journals and evidence of high quality teaching. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Accounting in hand or near to completion by July 2012.

About the Faculty of Management

The Faculty of Management (FOM) was established in 2005 as a new UBC Faculty (http://www.ubc.ca/okanagan/welcome.html). It has experienced very fast growth and recently moved into a new state-of-the-art building in August 2011. We plan to hire additional faculty in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, and Information Systems over the next two years. As part of a research-oriented institution, the FOM offers a well-balanced teaching load, encourages research excellence, and further promotes cross-disciplinary research. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of our founding faculty.
