Contemporary Accounting Research

Call for Papers

CAR invites articles on any area of accounting research topic broadly defined, eg. performance measurement; reporting and disclosure; management accounting and controls; auditing; tax; governance; financial statement analysis, etc. The level of analysis may be individual, organizational, capital markets or society at large. We are open to studies employing any method such as analytical, archival, case, empirical, experimental, survey or qualitative.

CAR accepts articles written either in English or in French. Articles submitted for the annual CAR conference must be written in English. Only papers containing original, unpublished work, which is not being considered for publication elsewhere, will be received. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically using CAR's online submission and peer review system at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/car/.
