The accounting profession faces several challenges in this globalization era. Will it be able to adapt and seize the opportunities that it encounters? Will research in accounting be able to support the profession through these endeavours?
The 2012 annual conference of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA) will provide an ideal forum to explore the various dimensions of this issue. The conference will be held in Charlottetown, in the beautiful province of Prince Edward Island, from May 31 to June 3, 2012.
